When: Saturday 28th September 2024, 4-8pm
Where: St Mary’s Church, Ross-on-Wye
About: As part of the JK300 celebrations Ross CDT are hosting a Festival of Volunteering on Saturday 28th September 2024 from 4-8pm at St Mary’s church, supported by Ross Town Council and Herefordshire Together.
This event is open to everyone who is involved in the many fantastic projects in and around Ross and indeed anyone who is interested in volunteering. It provides an opportunity to come together in the company of fellow volunteers, swap stories, renew old connections, make new ones and most of all celebrate the fantastic multi faceted benefits of supporting the local community which John Kyrle was so instrumental in.
There will have live music with the well known local duo Chocolate Teapot (aka Dene Godfrey and John Winder who are both active volunteers themselves) a fun photo booth, pop up bar with The Motley Hog Brewery and commemorative button badges – like a Blue Peter badge for volunteers! If you interested in volunteering please do just come along on the day for an informal chat with the many groups who will be represented there.
If you are a voluntary group and would like to be included in the Festival and have not already registered please email info@cdt.org.uk
