Sun shines on Equinox Festival

After an early morning storm, the clouds parted and the sun shone, bathing The Equinox Festival 2024 with music, fun and good humour. Rocking the audience was Ciars, a young band from Evesham, an inventive four-piece that played an excellent set, including their own material. Following them was the colourful, all-action Groovy Funky Things, a band that lived up to its name. There was plenty of things for kids to do, including a bubble blowing contest, a climbing wall, and a mysterious caravan cave for those of a less nervous disposition. People wandered around the craft stalls, ordered curry, pizza and burgers, clinked glasses of Prosecco or sipped well deserved pints. The free Equinox Festival has now become a firm fixture in the Ross-on-Wye social and entertainment scene.
