GETTING AROUND

CAR PARKING

The majority of car parks in the centre of Ross-on-Wye are maintained and managed by Herefordshire Council with fees from 8am to 6pm daily (including bank holidays, parking is free outside of these times and on Sundays). To find information on each car park’s for their opening times and charges, please visit their website here.

A free car park is also located on Homs Road (HR9 7DE), owned by Ross-on-Wye Town Council.

 

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

You can get a free 30-minute parking ticket to display in your electric or hybrid vehicle at council-owned, off-street car parks, while you plug in and charge.

Electricity at all chargepoints in council car parks is subject to a fee, payable to the chargepoint operator. The tariff is usually shown on the chargepoint, and will also be available on the chargepoint provider’s app.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

COACHES

Red Meadow car park is the designated coach parking area in the town and coaches can park there for free. Approach from Trenchard Street and find the entrance to the car park on Kyrle Street on the left hand side just before the ‘No Entry’ sign.

DAFFODIL LINE

The Daffodil Line is a community led bus services that connects the market towns of Ross-on-Wye, Newent, Ledbury and their surrounding villages.
