Newly renovated in May 2025, this charming hostelry facing the River Wye across the riverside park is close to the bandstand where brass bands play on Sundays in the summer and various events and fairs take place during the year. It features a restaurant with an individualistic menu. Outside, as well as the usual tables and chairs, are deckchairs and benches. The pub is also close to the launch site where canoes can be hired for trips on the river.
