A welcoming, traditional farmhouse with three ensuite doubles in the main house, sleeping 6 people, and two private suites with their own entrances close to the main building, sleeping two in each. Set in a quiet and relaxing location, the views are stunning especially at night where the lack of light pollution provides a wonderful opportunity for stargazing. Dog friendly (no charge).
Broome Farm’s award-winning cider making business gives visitors the chance to walk through 55 acres of orchards which are particularly beautiful during blossom time. Later in the year, surrounded by the aroma of ripening apples, harvest time provides an opportunity to see the cider making process firsthand and to sample the wide range of award winning ciders and perries produced on site. The traditional and delicious breakfast menu is varied using locally sourced ingredients and includes continental or full English breakfast, Huevos Rancheros, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, kedgeree or fruit salad (vegetarian and vegan options available).
Fresh daily picnics are available to buy from Hilary’s ‘Broome Cupboard’ which offers a selection of scones, sausage rolls, cakes, biscuits and other treats, so stock up before heading out to enjoy the fresh country air and a walk amongst the blossoms.
