When: Saturday 10 June 2023
Where: Ross-on-Wye
About: Ross-on-Wye’s very own resident guerilla knitters are busy planning for this year’s International Yarn Bombing Day to dress the town centre with their signature displays of brightly coloured crochet and knitted creations. From postbox hats, hanging decorations and bollard berets to lamppost corsets, floral tree garlands, wreaths and knitted baubles. Many of the beautiful creations depict nature and intricate wildlife scenes including birds and bees, butterflies, snails and fish.
Last year’s event in 2022 saw a spectacular display throughout the town to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and we wait with bated breath for this year’s which sees a national celebration for the King’s Coronation!
