Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

When: Wednesday 30 April to Sunday 12 June 2022

Where: various venues in Ross-on-Wye including St Mary’s Church, The Market House and The Bandstand at Caroline Symonds Gardens

About: To celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, there will be a four day bank holiday weekend and Ross-on-Wye will be holding a variety of events to mark this special occasion.

Sat 30 April to Sun 12 June – Ross-on-Wye town centre:

Tuesday 24 May to Monday 13 June – St Mary’s Church:

  • Art & Photographic Exhibition represented by local schools, organisations and art groups.

Wednesday 1 June:

  • 10:00-12:25: Live screening of Trooping the Colour – St Mary’s Church
  • 14:00-14:15: Town Crier – The Market House

Friday 3 June:

  • 10:00-12:00: Coffee Morning – St Mary’s Church
  • 11:00-17:00: Wye Valley River Festival including street theatre, music and much more – Ross town centre, St Mary’s Churchyard and The Prospect
  • 13:00-15:00: Ross-on-Wye Town Picnic for families and children (BYO) – St Mary’s Churchyard (or inside if adverse weather)
