About: This introductory short course will provide you with some practical ideas about how to
make your own garden more wildlife-friendly. Run by local volunteers with experience
of gardens large and small, urban and rural, we will cover the importance of food, water and shelter, seasonal planting, looking after your soil and how your garden can play
its part in your local setting. The approach will be friendly and informal with plenty of
opportunity for questions and a helpful list of resources you can take away.
